Where Neuroscience Meets Soul
Brain Processing & Neurodivergent Expert | Keynote Speaker & Performer | Author of THE PERSPECTIVE PIVOT

Why do smart brains overthink? And how do you stop?
Dr. Kristen has spent 20+ years answering that question, on stages, in boardrooms, in classrooms, and in her own life.
Dr. Kristen holds a doctorate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and achieved National Board Certified Teacher- Exceptional Needs Specialist status in 2017. She brings 20+ years of experience at the intersection of neuroscience, education, and human performance.
She's neurodivergent herself and built her frameworks because the standard advice never worked for her. She has worked with high-performers across schools, corporations, government agencies, and creative industries, helping leaders, educators, and executives thrive under pressure without sacrificing their mental health.
At the core of her work is The Perspective Pivot, a neuroscience-based method built on one idea: there's a three-second window between a trigger and a spiral. Catch it, and you can change everything. Using three simple steps, Acknowledge, Adjust, Align, she helps people break free from burnout, overthinking, and rigid thought loops.

Dr. Kristen is the author of THE PERSPECTIVE PIVOT, a TEDx speaker, host of The NeuroDiverse Teacher Podcast, and Season 10 winner of The Blox (founded by Wes Bergmann of MTV's The Challenge), where she also returned as a judge. Named one of WomLEAD Magazine's "Leaders Shaping Women's Entrepreneurship's Future," she has spoken at organizations including the CIA, FAA, Fortune 500 companies, and universities nationwide.
Dr. Kristen doesn’t just inspire. She helps you work with your brain instead of against it. Expect real tools you can use immediately to think clearer, lead stronger, and stop spiraling when it matters most.

From an early age, Dr. Kristen was captivated by the question of how people think, feel, and create meaning. A natural storyteller and observer, she grew up blending creativity with a deep curiosity about the brain. Beyond her professional work, she is a certified yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and lifelong student of wellness who finds grounding in movement, meditation, and energy work.
She loves traveling to new places, drawing inspiration from the ocean, and creating spaces where people feel both seen and supported. At home, you'll find her cheering on her kids, laughing with friends over music, or getting lost in a good book, often while sketching the outline of her next big idea.
Her life reflects the same philosophy she teaches: a fusion of science, soul, and play. For Dr. Kristen, the brain is not only wired for productivity, but also for joy, connection, and the freedom to imagine what comes next.
